“HOORAY” we hear you cheer! No? Not feeling it? So, here’s what we find puzzling: If it makes us feel so good, why do we find it so darn difficult to stick to an exercise routine? Because it can still feel like hard work. Because other things compete for our time. And because when we’re not in the habit of being active we often lack the motivation to become active…and it’s getting active that energises us and makes us want more. (That last one makes us dizzy….it really is a vicious circle!)

 

That’s where Train4Life comes in.

Yes, exercise can be hard work. And it can also be FUN!

And yes, there’s always something else we could be doing with our time. But if you want to experience the benefits to your physical and mental wellbeing, time getting active is time well spent.

Yes, we know it’s hard to get motivated sometimes. But let us help you with that! Sometimes a regular slot in your diary and a bit of accountability are all that’s needed!

We offer a range of support packages whether you want to lose weight, feel more energised, improve your fitness levels or get toned. We have a zero-judgement policy at Train4Life – you will be welcomed with open arms whatever your shape, size and level of fitness. Whoever you are and whatever your relationship with exercise, we’ll find something that works for you.

Personal Training

Our Train4Life Personal Training packages are tailored to provide you with the knowledge and motivation you need to get active, and keep moving. We get outside and mix things up so you won’t get bored! We’ve found that the key to staying motivated is to figure out what floats your boat, so we’ll be working with you to come up with a programme that you enjoy and that keeps you coming back for more!

One-to-one Personal Training

packages consist of 10 one-hour sessions and include a personalised exercise and nutrition plan.

One-to-one Personal Training packages start from £350

Group Training

packages are a cost-effective option for those wanting to get fit with a friend or two. Not only will you save money, you’ll also get some additional motivation and accountability from your training pal!

Group Training packages start from £400 (minimum 2 people)

Express One-to-one Personal Training

If you want to get in shape but are short on time, this could be just the ticket! Designed for those who are prepared to work extra hard for a shorter period of time, these packages consist of 10 half an hour sessions and include a personalised exercise and nutrition plan.

Boot Camps

Our Boot Camps take place in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. We love to exercise in the great outdoors – getting in touch with nature and breathing in all that fresh air is SO good for the soul!

 

Our style is a far cry from the ‘Sergeant Major’ approach that people often think of when they hear the words ‘boot camp’. There’s no judgement and absolutely, definitely, categorically no intimidation or body-shaming allowed during our sessions. We’re a happy-go-lucky, friendly bunch who enjoy getting fit together and who love that extra dollop of motivation that comes from a supportive and encouraging group dynamic.

 

Whatever your fitness level, we provide different options so you can choose what’s right for you. We’ll challenge you to stretch yourself (literally and metaphorically!), but working at a pace that’s appropriate to wherever you’re at in your journey.

 

We can often feel trapped in our day-to-day lives. Our Boot Camps are the perfect antidote to that, providing a sense of freedom, getting your blood pumping and reminding you of the joy of being alive!

Our Boot Camp sessions last for one hour and take place across the Charnwood area:

  • Monday 9:30am: Rothley Court Hotel
  • Tuesdays 6pm: Platts Lane, Cossington
  • Wednesdays 8:30am: Ratcliffe College
  • Fridays 9:30am: Rothley Court Hotel
  • Saturdays 9:30am: Family Boot Camp at Bradgate Park for adults and kids aged 11+

£6 per session (adults). £4 per session (under 18s). First session is free!

You can also buy 10 sessions for £50*.
This is a great option for people who struggle to stay motivated after the first week or two of a new exercise routine…knowing you’ve already paid for it is a surprisingly effective way of getting you into your exercise gear and out of the front door!

Under 18s can buy 10 sessions of the Bradgate Park Family Boot Camp for just £30.

*excludes Ratcliffe College

If those dates and times don’t work for you, why not grab a group of friends and we’ll come to you! We can bring the Boot Camp to you for an hour for just £60. The more friends you can gather the cheaper it will be!

Health Impact Programme

If you have a specific clinical condition, chances are your doctor has encouraged you to exercise in order to improve or manage your condition.  As we’ve mentioned already, exercise is the best drug out there!

 

But physical activity may be a challenge for you.  You may feel nervous about making your condition worse, or perhaps exercise is completely new to you and you just don’t know where to start. 

 

The Train4Life Health Impact Programme supports individuals and groups with diabetes, depression, stress, anxiety and obesity.  We will work with you as an individual, taking time to understand your specific needs and challenges. We’ll support you every step of the way so that you can achieve your goals in a way that is right for you. 

 

You can choose to work on a one-to-one basis with a specially qualified trainer, or you may prefer to be in a group with others who have the same condition as you.

 

Contact us to tell us about your needs and you’ll be treated as an individual, with dignity and empathy.

 

We also take GP referrals via the GP Exercise Referral Scheme.
