Our bodies are very clever!

They know intuitively what we need so we can feel at our best. But our poor, clever bodies often don’t stand a chance of being heard above the hullabaloo of our busy, modern lives. Cooking meals from scratch feels like a luxury we just don’t have time for. We’re pulled in so many directions, we often turn to whatever’s the most convenient.

Add to that the media hype around what we should/shouldn’t be eating and it’s really no wonder we find it so hard to make informed choices about what to eat. Eat4Life is here to get you back in touch with what your body is telling you it needs for optimum health, wellbeing and energy. It’s not just about weight loss (although we can certainly support you with that if that’s what you’re looking for). Eat4Life is about knowing what to eat to feel great, whatever your shape and size. It’s about understanding your relationship with food, recognising when you eat for comfort or convenience, and learning to make good choices.

We love food and we’re not about deprivation or fad diets. Instead, we look at simple ways to introduce health-promoting food and drink, crowding out unhealthy options. We focus on real foods that are quick and simple to prepare, and that will fit in with your busy life. Our Eat4Life programmes are here to equip you with the knowledge, skills and motivation to eat your way to wellbeing. All our programmes are free from judgement, delivered in a relaxed environment and in the spirit of fun!

We can create bespoke packages to meet your individual needs, so do get in touch and let us know how we can help you.

Nutritional Coaching

You’ve probably noticed that how you’re feeling and what’s going on in the rest of your life can make a big difference to what and how you eat.  Our Nutritional Coaching takes an integrated approach that looks at your relationship with food together with other factors that could be affecting your overall health and wellbeing (such as relationships, career, exercise, finances etc).

Are you tired of making changes to your eating habits, trying different diets or healthy eating regimes that are great for a week or two but just don’t stick? Or perhaps you feel you’re doing everything right but still you’re not reaching your goals? Do you want to improve your relationship with food, feel more energised, lose weight and feel healthier but you’ve no idea where to start?

Sometimes we all need a helping hand to tap into our personal goals, figure out what’s holding us back and take positive, sustainable action. Our Nutritional Coaching does just that. We can guide you on your journey, sticking with you every step of the way. We’ll work with you to identify the goals that will bring the most benefit to your wellbeing. That could be eating for energy, getting better sleep, looking after your psychological health, weight loss or something else. Once those goals are set, we’ll identify small, manageable steps to get you there.

Our six-month programme consists of a proven combination of individual coaching sessions and resources to help keep you on track in between sessions. We’ll meet twice every month, so if you ever feel you’re slipping back into old habits, or you need some encouragement and a verbal (or actual) hug, you don’t have long to wait for your next session.

We’re here for you, cheering you on!

£150 per month for six months.

Healthilicious Cook School

I am not a chef, I’m a passionate home cook and health coach who loves food and I’d love to show you how to achieve health and vitality for you and your family through what we eat.

The emphasis of our cooking days will be of fun, discovery and learning in a relaxed setting. Through a mixture of informal teaching and hands-on experiences, I will guide you through the basics of good nutrition- what we should eat for health, vitality and a range of health concerns and why.

This is no ordinary cooking school- we know food is important to our health and we also know that there are a whole host of other things that contribute to overall wellbeing and we will integrate lots of them into these days. We’ll get mindful as we cook and create, we’ll enjoy snacks in the great outdoors whilst waiting for the dinner to cook and we will laugh and have fun- you may even be surprised how fun and relaxing cooking can be!

The day is held at my own home kitchen- there’s no fancy equipment and there’s no sous-chef waiting in the wings- just a basic home kitchen with the usual selection of pots and pans showing you that anybody can cook!

Classes are small and intimate with numbers limited to just 4 people so please book quickly to reserve your place.

Prices vary, starting at £85. Please contact us for further information.

Pantry Makeover

With so much so-called ‘healthy’ food on offer in the supermarket, it’s easy to be bamboozled by the hype. Is the food in your pantry healthy, or is it junk in disguise?

Our Pantry Makeover helps you spot the good from the bad. We explore the psychology behind our food purchases and look at the clever ways those pesky marketing experts hoodwink us with their claims.

By the time we’re finished your pantry will be full of goodness, and you’ll be armed with knowledge that will allow you to make good choices every time you hit the supermarket.

£75 for a two hour session.
